Default New Gal from VA
Hey There,

I wanted invited over here by a friend of mine, made the account and got overwhelmed by the Holiday's before I could make up an introductory post.

I'm Kendra (yes, I'm very creative in usernames ), good ol' age of 21, I live in VA, and I own a '00 Dodge Dakota Quad Cab. I thoroughly enjoy the truck, but I do wish it would help my other hobbies a bit more. I'm into horses and I don't quite feel like pressing my luck by hauling a horse with it. Not to mention the inconvenience of a short bed, can only put about twenty bales of hay if they're stacked just right and tied down.

Truck was made in Canada and I bought it out of Ohio last June, so needless to say cancer has taken its fair share of bites from it. I'm in the midst of playing "catch-up" with it from the previous owner. Had the original battery in it when it was purchased and recently had the tranny flushed and a new filter put in. Was chirping from 1st to 2nd gear and since I didn't know the history of the vehicle, hoped that at least a transmission flush would postpone the notorious issues that Dodge succumbs to.

Changed the headlights on it a few times until I realized I was satisfied with two-piece headlights. I want to get a new bed on the truck because it has got the worst of the "cancer" on it, but it's remarkably hard to find a short-bed for a Dakota. Found a nice LB for $200, immaculate, but no SB.

Anyway, I don't have any UTD pictures, but I'll share what I have Bumper has since been painted, all the pictures with a faded black/primer bumper, it's no longer existent, got a nice matte black on there now.

This is what it was when I got it (rusted out running boards, rusted upper bumper (black), busted/fogged fog lights, and fogged out headlights)

"Baby" flex. Can't off-road much around here

Kendra from a FOUR MAGNUM family in North Carolina.

We too, have a Dakota; ours is a 1993, still runs GREAT and looks pretty good!
Ours is only a two wheel drive however.
