I'm not into the bagged thing. I wanted a tough stance and achieved it. Personally, if I had a lifted truck, it would be 4WD and I would use it.

If you go big on a lift and tires just get gears and you'll be fine on mpgs, you'll want em if ya going big anyway

It's all sprung weight big dog. You're adding more weight, more body roll, less turning radius, lower MPG, and obviously you're going with bigger tire's, so, it's more stress on your driveline to get it moving.

A set of drop shackles for the rear will give it a level look, or you can do the level up the front, actually there's a guy local with a 3" susp lift for a 2 wd 3rd gen I think I even posted it in the classifieds eBay craigslist deals section
