My Magnum gets Blastin' Bobs Reso Deletes
Today Stan (ScatPack) and his family came up for a visit and brought the Blastin Bobs Reso Delete straight pipes up so we could see IF these from his Challenger R/T would fit my Magnum R/T. We put BLUE up on ramp stands and checked them out. Perfect; they are the same! This Kit is really nice; larger diameter straight pipes with the mandrel bends. Stan then said "Hey, lets put them on". So he and I gathered up what tools we needed and he crawled underneath measured and cut the old pipes and Reso's off and put the new system on.
I had some tips laying around and they were the clamp type so we put these on the ends. Came out GREAT!
Thank YOU so much Stan for all your help. Great job. We were a little surprised that this did NOT make the exhaust much louder but sounds really good and a little more rumble. Also gettin rid of the weight of the old resonators... and that's a PLUS>
Now for a few pictures.... Ole BLUE is sure coming along!!!!

Thanks folks; I was hoping it would be louder but it really isn't! Eliminating the Resonators was supposed to increase the noise. Also these pipes are 3" pipes that reduced down to 2 1/2 to fit the standard exhaust. I still like them a lot however. Maybe I'll have to replace that big suitcase muffler and replace with some duals.
Was a little surprised that the Challenger exhaust pipes were the same bends, hanger locations and all. Also like the fact that these are "mandrel" bends with NO creases in the pipes for better FLOW.

You gotta remember that the Chally was built off the 300/Magnum frame. So most of the undercarriage stuff should be pretty close. Take the suitcase off and put on some Flow's or Glasspacks. Looks sweet Bro.

Instead of the Flowmaster, I would recommend a Dynomax or Magnaflow...
