Working on these Trucks is a Joy. I do all my own stuff except for exhaust and Tire/alignement work. When it came to my Gears though I also farmed that out to a Pro.

Danny, I see we used the same cam holding tool. lol What aftermarket crank pulley is that? Is it an under drive unit? It looks good.

Yep Vise Grips...LOL...That is the old Cam Bolt so it doesn't Matter...gives you a good balanced Grip so when the Cam goes in your not hitting the bearings too hard when sliding the cam into position.
The Pulley is a Pro-Sport SFI approved (Made in Australia) Damper and Underdrive 20%. I thought since I was reving at 6400 it was a good idea. I put it on when I installed Cam #1 (6.1).

Danny, I forgot about the extra 4wd lever. That is why you wanted to change out the bottom of the dash. Now it makes sense to me. That is going to be cool. I like rachet shifters. Semmed like the gate is not as smooth without practise.
