I probably don't have to do the washes either, but when I traded my Lincoln LS V8 for my Chally. I had everything and the finance manager bought the car for his wife because he know how much care I took of my car. Having the washes is just going that little extra. You never know, every little bit helps.

Washes would be a little overkill for me on a 14 year old truck, but if I ever buy anything new, it's a possibility.
I'm glad I saw this thread today. Got a fresh oil change to add lol

You really can't over document.
Storytime: Back in the day I had a 69' Camaro that I had well documented, traded it for a nice truck from a used car lot. The owner kept the Camaro for his colleage bound daughter. Later I had a transmission problem and went back to him to see if he could get me a discount at a nearby trans shop. Went to pick up my truck and the shop told me the bill had already been paid by the owner of the used car lot. He said he's daughter was so happy with the Camaro that he had no problem paying for the overhual trans.

That;s a good habit to follow, and you can later type it out and print it to make the rough copy into a permanent log.
