Straight pipes on a gas engine are janky...LOL....speaking of Janky...I had a friend who was too much of a tight wad to spend the money on actual exhaust pipe...so he went down to a home improvement store and bought fence pipe and pit it on his Delta 88...damn near poisoned himself from the galvinizaton....
However, I do like how 03Rammers's straight piped cummins sounds.

Lol that make's no sense... Cutout = straight pipe. Unless you're talking about rattling window's all the time being janky.
I love the sound of a cammed 360 huffing with 3" straight pipe.

There is a different tone with the cutouts are there not? Plus, with the cutouts he can close them and pass through his muffler...

The tone is only changed when the vehicle is Y piped. A single cutout into a Y pipe will be louder at an idle than a true dual straigh pipe.
Never noticed that before man?
