Reminds me of one of the shows in Songtongse [Osan] that involved a woman and red,white,and blue pingpong balls along with a lot of booze.

What was the restricted area called in Pusan, Green Street? I spent most of my time on Texas Street. Great fun..
Storytime: this was back in 70' we would occassionaly pull into Pusan for a few days shore leave. I think this was on the second day. Me and a another shipmate took some friends over to the local Army base to have lunch. It was later than we thought and were in a EM club of sorts when all these dependent wifes start crowding in for a Bingo game. Here we are with our local friends half in the bag when the wifes started loudly discussing how low class sailors were bringing in the local help. You know those plastic squeese bottles of ketchup have quite the range. i squirted a couple and all hell broke loose. Just down the street was a bath house we hide in for the rest of the afternoon. And I must say it wasn't an unpleasant way to spend an afternoon.

No so much a connection. Grew up in Darwin, Australia which is a very multicultural city with diverse mix of racial and cultural groups . Made a great circle of "Fili" friends throughout the years. The post i made was me reciting a good friend who wrote that on a Farewell Card when i left to live in the States. Still meet up with them when i go back to Australia to visit family every few years.

Well, thought I was finished modding this year. But you know how it goes sometimes when a deal comes up. Anyway if I can get delivery of a Sharadon Stage III Valve body in time I'll get it installed before leaving. We will see.....
