Default Dash Designs dash cover
Well, even though my dash is not cracked (I replaced it with an upgraded Mopar one from the dealer), I still wanted to cover it up to protect it anyway and keep the glare from the new shiny dash out of my eyes. So, I ordered a black sedona suede dash cover from Auto Anything. I am very impressed with the quality and fit of this dash cover, and in my opinion, does not look cheesy like the old shag rug dash covers you see all over the place on 2nd gens.

It also seemed to help with the acoustics inside the cab, it doesn't sound as echoy in there now when you really crank up the tunes. Which makes sense since the dash and windshield are both highly reflective surfaces.

I am thankful that in all 5 of the rams I have owned I have yet to have a cracked dash

The upgraded Mopar one I got from the dealer isn't supposed to crack, but for some reason it was much shinier than the factory one. My guess is the different plastic they used. Anyway, I think the cover compliments the rest of the interior well, and definitely reduces the glare I had.

I got it at dealer cost for around $275.

I like the cover. My '98 Ram has the cracked dash and that looks like it was made for the truck, not just something you throw up there to cover the crack. What was the cost from Auto Anything?
