I tried to take the inserts out and broke the plastic like i thought i would on the first one. Went the masking route instead...



Looks like I may need to wet sand a little more but I am afraid I might go to far so may just live with it the way it is. It won't be perfect but I think it's gonna turn out better than I thought anyway.

Will I have done professionally one day? Probably

But damn does it look good with this color scheme!









I need to clean up where it meets the hood I got paint on that piece of foam. I'm happy for now just hope it holds up!

That looks great...that Duplicolor Perfect Match is good stuff. It is what I used on my Gen2 top bumper cover. It will withstand the elements well too if your prep was good.

You can see a color difference more at night which is weird cuz I thought the sun would make it look worse.. I guess time will tell..
