November's "South East Mopar Of The Month" Competition has begun.

Well, here goes for the campaigning for my truck

"Ruby Ram"
1996 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD
318 CID
46RE Trans
sitting just under 87,000 miles

Engine/drivetrain/chassis Mods:
14x3 Edelbrock air cleaner with K&N element
16 inch Dynomax Race Bullet muffler NOT DUMPED...running straight out of the muffler exit
Trans replaced with a rebuilt unit with SONNAX internals in July of this year by Budget Transmission in Leesburg, FL
Aftermarket trans cooler


Appearance mods:
3 inch tube black powder coated bull bar w/skid plate
custom color matched top bumper cover
Cheapo WalMart offroad lights w/color matched grilles
body moulding removed
"RAW" badge on the front grille
Flat Black painted site shields

Audio:
Dual Mechless headunit

I like the diner pics from Lou. Looks old school like from American Grafitti. I like Ruby Ram also. A working mans truck that the owner takes pride in. I am gonna hold my vote so I can see more pictures. We love pictures.

273 cubic inch plant/185 hp stock
500 cfm edelbrock carb on a year correct Formula S factory manifold
904 column shifted automatic
Factory air conditioning
SSBC stainless steel disk brake conversion
polygraphite suspension bushings, except lower control is trw rubber
10 drum brakes rear rebuilt
14x6 ralleys front/14x7 ralleys rear with 215/65/14r tires
66 Forumla S instrument cluster w tach
dual exhaust w flowmaster mufflers/axle dumps
lowered 2 inches front/3 inches rear [thanks Adam]

Original St. Pete car had cosmetic restoration 1996,i have owned it since 2006 and have not done anything to the interior/body.Car is about 85% original and only has had a color change outside and upolstery change in 1996.this is 1 of 9300 66 cudas with a v8/automatic that were made [how many are left ?].
