Okay I have been talking with Jay aka rhino and we are looking at doing a straight up fundraiser at S&R performance for Jays Patriot Run, were looking at getting a pig, we need members to donate there time and work this event. IE take donations, park people, pass out food, we need somebody to cook the pig that has done it before, sell sodas waters and what not. Can SEMopars do this? Will our members step up and do all we can to make this a big event, were also looking at making it a car show, 15 to show plus selling food should make for a good amount raised for a great cause, who would be willing to help, that means helping not showing, we would have our own little spot where we could all park and still be seen but we would be the hosts, this could mean good things for us.....please add your name and if your other half can or will help pls add theirs, also add it to your and our calendar for SEMopars event....

I have cooked for large gatherings but never done a whole damn pig...but I will help out any way I can to support both SEM and Jay...as long as it is on a Sunday though....I need to stress that part...lol

Can he get one in time to get him on some grain? I ask this because if it isnt a domestic hog, the meat might taste funny to people that havent acquired a taste for wild hog. For selling to the public, I suggest getting as close to a domestic hog as possible...I know Nunez hog farm up in Dade City sells feeder hogs pretty cheap....

I spoke with Dad and if he is able to catch one between now and then, he said he would donate it to us and cook it for us...providing someone has the means to cook it....he will clean and dress it...
