Default operation suspension....
well this will be my build thread for the next cpl months as i go through some major changes....some will just be repairs like my front wheel bearings that will be replaced with in the next cpl weeks, i have also been eyeballing a set of djm 2" drop arms for my front, they are used but in great condition, along with those the front will get new uppers as well, which will mean i got new ball joints, which are needed. i need to fabricate my flip in the rear, and buy some longer shackles, so if any of you know where i can get a good set cheap let me know...ill be welding spring perches to the rear axle and making my plates for the top of the axle....my shocks will need to be replaced when all is said and done, just dont know what to use, as my fronts should be 2" longer and my rears to right?.....any advise or ideas ?......anything im over looking?

jay, I don't know about the drop control arms. But have heard there have been problems. I do know drop spindles work nicely. And trimming the spring allows you to dial in the hieght.

Jay, I don't have the real details. But what I remember reading on DT was there was a chamber adjustment issue, along with the tie rod ends needed to be cut. I'm thinking the control arm is shorter than the OEM arm causing the top of the tire to lean out and being shorter the tie rod ends required to be shorten to get the toe-in adjusted. There might be an advantage here if you also went with custom upper control arms that are also shorter. This would effectively move the entire wheel inboard and increase clearance with the fender lip. Research is needed to nail down the details.
Just a note: drop spindles use stock shocks and maintain stock geometry.

here's my rear flip. its a djm kit. if you look at it pretty carefully im sure you can build one at home... as for the front i just used drop springs and slid out my upper control arm to correct the camber.

Yeah I have been searching for some real good rnr with these things and its hit or miss with what some people try, there's good and there's bad I guess as with everything, I'm not sold on them yet, I just cant justify spindles....this has been along time plan to just use a spring kit, then I got hooked on these cause of the theory...
