No problem Vipr. I would of went with vinyl if my tail lights were a flat smooth design like jays because the vinyl is easier to remove then the niteshade. However I do not think it would be that easy to do vinyl (for me at least) on the dakota tail lights because they are curved and have the two circles with the lip around the circles jutting out and not a smooth flat surface like jays ram tail lights. So the design and shape of the tail light is something to consider when choosing between vinyl or nite shade as well.

another thing that makes the vinyl so much better is the fact of the local laws they are strapping down on and if you do say get a ticket or get into some sort of debat with the laws, its completely reversable just peels and clean...unlike niteshades or paint you need to go out and buy another set of tails....even though if i were to get into trouble id be buying black depot lights anyway i like the contrast of black lights on my black truck...

My issue exactly, I have the similar tails on my truck. I bought a can of VHT a few days ago just so it could tempt me to do this but I have not pulled the trigger yet, still a little on the fence....I will prob start with the 3rd brake light and see how i do with that before going on to the tails. From all the videos I have watched I am thinking I will be a 2 coater, 3 just seemed like it was asking for it IMO.
