Here are some more local to Piedmont (Charlotte) area car shows I have just come across. These are ALL good shows.

This is always the 2nd Sat of the month = Oct 8th...

American Diabetes Association Charity Car Show
October 15th, 2011
9am - 2pm
5455 Potters Rd.
Stallings, NC 28104 (near Hwy 74 & I-485)
Classes: Best In Show, Best Late Model, Best Classic, Best Mopar, Best Ford, Best Chevy, Best Import, Best Motorcycle.

Sorry, I do NOT have a flyer for this show; but we have been and it's a really nice one. (Paul this is at the little Cart Track in Salisbury)

North Carolina Quarter Midget Association Speedway to host a car show on 10-22-11, 10 AM - 2 PM, at the NCQMA Speedway, 1130 Speedway Blvd., Salisbury, NC. All makes and years of vehicles are welcome! The gates open at 9 AM. Registration is only $10 and from 10 AM - Noon. Trophies will be awarded at 2 PM. Games, food, raffles and more! All proceeds benefits the kids at the NCQMA Speedway. Contact: [email protected] or 704-530-8507. PLEASE consider attending this fun event. If you are not able to make it, PLEASE help in sharing the word and inviting friends.

That is some cool stuff. You don't have any info on the Ace get together? I want to try and make the kids midget racer show in Salisbury.

While down there checking on parts they told me that that would be in touch with Rob of Stuarts Shine for the event information. Have NOT heard anymore about this yet. I'll keep ya posted!

Yeah, the kid midget racer show was cool last year, huh?

Called the guy about this show and did NOT like how judging went... Each vote for your car cost $1... Plus your entry Fee; guess the rich guys will win like last year. Was gonna go... but we changed our mind.

How in the heck do you pay $1 for a vote??? I mean, so it is just whomever pays for more votes wins?

YOU pay $20 to enter; then for every $ you spend YOU get one vote and the number on your windshield... IF someone likes your car and pays $1, you get THAT vote. Finally remember that we did go to this last year and YUP the Rich guys one. Silly they bought their trophy.
Kinda STUPID if you ask me. That's why we cancelled.
