Default Darn Cancer check up tomorrow.
Tomorrow Tee and I have to drive up to Durham NC at the VA hospital to see the DUKE doctors for my cancer check up. Really don't even feel like going. And... I won't know anything for a few days until the blood work is all checked out. Kind of tired of it all; if it's NOT the Cancer check ups, it's Heart check ups or COPD check ups; seem to spend as much time at the hospitals as I do home. Geesh!

Jim, it's tiring for sure and wears you down. But it's necessary for your loved ones. I'm your age and I understand. Hang in there. I have a friend that pasted last year and I keep thinking if he had understood how hard it affected his family he might have kept on trying a little harder. Be strong brother..

At least they gave me an afternoon appointment so I don't have to hurry up there and also I'll miss the worse of the traffic.

Met wtih the Duke doctor; asked me about 100 questions and told me what to expect from the test results ~ either way; high or low numbers. Suggested I make some more appointments with our local VA for other health issues.

And... will call with Test results in a day or two and took a urine sample to check for any possible infections or problems with the urinary tract. So no REAL news yet.... but BOY ~ they sure treat YOU nice up there; NOT like our local VA.

Good trip up and back; about 220 miles round trip ~ not too bad and traffic was good both ways. Glad to be back home though.
