I wanna get a gun for our house...leaning towards a Glock...I just want something fairly inexpensive...even a shotgun or rifle would work. I even looked at HiPoints once...LOL

IMO... Glock make's an awesome pistol. Their really lightweight. Very manuverable. You can get them pretty cheap and if your up-keep on them is good they last forever.

I had a Mossberg Pump 12 gauge...bought it from WalMart...owned it for a week at the most, I took it to Dade City Rod and Gun Club...paid the guy $7 for some targets...and shot it 3 times before I hear the Range Officer guy yell "SEIZE FIRE"...he then yells..."WHO THE HELL IS SHOOTING BIRDSHOT?"....I tucked my tail and said "ME!?"...he then said..."YOURE GONNA F**K UP MY TARGETS SHOOTING THAT SHIT, LEAVE AND COME BACK WITH SLUGS"....after I priced what a box of slugs cost at the local gun shop I said screw this and sold the shotgun to my dad for $75...haven't owned a gun of any sort since.

I actually went to look/buy a S&W .40 cal yesterday morning. But it felt weird in my hand and had no safety which was a no-go with my 17-month old son. As I was walking away, the guy suggested this one so I looked. Feels right at home in my hand and has 2 safety's. Plus, one of my buddies has the older model of this gun, and another has the same in a 9mm and they love them. Hopin to put some rounds through it Thursday morning
