I too have the 4.7 and I would say your gears would be good up to like a 33 maybe a 35, anything bigger you would want to put at least 3.92s in....

Ill sell ya mine...lol, so I can get a set of 4.88s!!!

How big do you want to go? Dont worry about it being 2wd...there are kits out there for just about anything you wanna do. Everything on my truck is Fabtech. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Make your own suspension part's!!! It's not all that hard, well i'm not gonna lie, I did anger managment classes while I was building the suspension under the D150. Lol

Na, Cajun, not really into people calling people son/boy/cheif/bossman, shit like that. Since I moved to the U.S I have found out that people use that word alot.

Just chiming in with my 2 cents.Do what you like it's your truck i personally would not lift a 2wd that's something for a 4x4 i would slam that thing. But to each his own, i gotta admit strat's truck is bad ass very nicely done.

eh, the only truck i really like lowered is a silverado or a sierra. infact, i like them when the ass end is lower than the front. i dont find a dodge looks good lowered.. im just trying to get it to look more agressive like i had with my frontier. if i can get a picture of it ill post it up

another chance for me to chime in, so you wanna lift i understand that but you gotta decide 33 or 35 then base how you want it stand around that do you want more wheel well or the stuffed look? your gear ratio should be on a sticker in your glove box, if not theres other ways to fig it out. no need for custom tunes just for a lift and bigger tires, at all...if you want a lil more power and fun you can buy a superchips and with a canned tune they make for a great lil bump in power and enjoyment you can also change your tire size so you speedo is correct and have other functions based on year of your truck...
