You can buy it precut for your hood and fenders. It comes rolled up in a tube. You spray the plastic and hood with a mixture of soap and water so you can slide the plastic around and get it in the right spot and then you squeegee out all the water. There are lots of youtube videos showing how to install it. Its easy for me since I see it done everyday but if its your first time without ever seeing it installed then it could be a challenge. Also the shape of the hood/fenders can make the install really easy or really hard. The 3rd gen hood isn't too hard to do.

Its great to put it on the front end of every car. I would put it on the hood, fenders, mirrors, and bumper on your truck since its all painted. The 4th gen hood is quite a bit harder to have it installed on.
