Dodge has been doing the body styling thing since 1994 if you remember back then only 1500s were the new style, in 1995 they offered it in all 2500,3500 probly for two reasons one to make sure the dyes that stamp out the sheet metal are correct and second to make sure they will sell the new body style.Did the same thing with the chally first year was only supposed to be a few units only 1 color 1 engine vertually no options and they were overrun with orders and then they started all configurations sold like hotcakes.
