like ramsport said clean the TPS or the IAC. we have a 2500 at work and it was acting up doing the same thing, ran fine just wouldnt idle. took it to our mechanic and he replaced the IAC and cleaned the throttle body and so far so good. Although a weak battery will wreak havoc on our second gens also.
