i think walmart you can get a free fishing lince still or its like 5 bucks for fresh water i dunno catch and realese if i bring boat im drop it off at 56th street and ride it up weather depending

No, even though you buy them on WalMart, you are actually purchasing them from the state...the $0.50 of the $17.50 that you pay, is the fee WalMart profits by being a license issuer.

you do not need a lic for salt as long as you are on land or wading, they tried it and within a yr they did away with it. freshwater still needs lic, and being in a boat.

Im not fishing if I have to pay for new lic. last year it was free for all Fla residents "on Shore only" I only catch & release & do not fish enough to even count as a fisherwomen, maybe another day! Yes Adam your right it's $17 freshwater, fresh & salt combo $32.50.

This weekend, on Sept 1st is the states "free fishing day"...you can fish anywhere ya want without a license.
