Mine was a 1977 F250 Camper Special, metallic green with a white roof, had the 460 and auto trans, single cab. Dad bought it from a trailer park here in Zhills for $700 my freshman year of high school...drove the hell out of it til after I graduated.

1982 Ford Courier XLT...gator blue with a gators sticker that almost covered the whole back window, 4 cylinder with 5-speed (would bark 2nd and 3rd), stereo system, tonneau cover, white spoke wheels, Grand Am Radial GT tires, re-upholstered, tinted windows, driving lights and shorty antenna.

I loved that little truck!

A 1968 Plymouth Road Runner had a 440 4 barrel and a 4 speed i paid 200$ for it cause it had a bad oil leak when running turned out to be the oil pressure sending unit,my girl friend [first wife] and i rebuilt the engine and cleaned it up some. Was not a show piece but she was fast as hell [the car not the girlfriend]. Went into the military and left the car at my fathers cause it had broken he junked it while i was gone.

When I got my F250, it still had bias ply tires on it...LOL...dad changed the rears to radial 33/12.50/16.5's, but left the front the 9 inch wide bias tires. He made me run them til they wore out of round before we replaced the fronts with radials. Out of round bias ply tires SUCKKKKKK

My very first car was a 1955 Ford Station wagon. Got it on a Friday; spent all weekend cleaning it out, painting the wheels and gotter' lookin' good..... only to find out that this car had already been sold by the owner of the garage and a worker that sold it to my Dad for me didn't know and they came and got it... so I guess the first car I got that I could keep was a 1954 Mercury 2 door sedan.

A 1967 Galaxie 500 fastback, with rotted rear quarter panels. I live in Brockton, Mass. Cars get kinda beat up with salt during the winters. My mother knew when I was driving over 55, because the quarter panels would start to tap against the frame. I loved that old beast. Couldn't kill it. Resold it for $500, cause it had a 351M in it.

After my wife and I got married I bought a 75 F250...it had a bored out 352 from a 63 Galaxy...loved that engine. The guy who built it bolted up Mickey Thompson valve covers to it with no baffles...so we made a catch can from a 20oz coke bottle, but it had a high volume oil pump and on long trips, we would have to stop and pour the oil back into the crankcase.
