Moe's
Folks, looks like Moe's in free fall again. Taking a beating on the DT forum.
I have bought a lot of parts over the years, but none recently and have never had a complaint.
Sad....

It is a shame bc Moe's does have good pricing but they just haven't been able to get their act together lately. They really need someone who is in charge of customer service over there.

Here is something bob posted elsewhere about the situation.

Also, we will be refunding all the current orders ASAP because of this.
We’ve now got a new credit card processer “Authorize.Net”, which is what Heidi and Scott from Billet Tech suggested long ago to me.
It will take a few days to set up the new card processer before we can take orders.
We will be able to put a “reserve” on your card when you place the order and charge the card when the item is ready to ship. This is what Billet Tech does and what we’ve wanted to do for a long time.
Also, I’ve been falling behind again with customer service. I do realize what a problem this is. It’s just not easy to fix. CTdreamin’ does a great job on the forums. What I need is an employee to help, very hard to find.
I’m also caring for my mother. She has stage 4 throat cancer and is in the middle of Chemotherapy and radiation. Please send positive thoughts and prayers for her.
We’ll still be one of the sponsors for the race in Mechanicsville, MD but I won’t be attending as I planned.
So, I ask for your patience in this difficult time. I’m still very much a HEMI enthusiast.
Thanks,
bob

Bob, is no doubt having a tough time, hopfully it will all work out for him and his family. Maybe we can get CTdreamin’ to update us here as Bob works through this.

i feel for him as it seems that family issues are behind the recent freefalls, but that is no way to operate a business. in my mind a decent company would either hire someone to help or shut down until things got better. i cant condone taking peoples money and leaving them hanging out to dry. most of what i have seen is a total lack of communication and effort on their part. i will not buy from them because of the amount of this that continues to go on. i wish them the best personally and hope for the customers sake the shut down the site or take actions to ensure customer satisfaction

I agree with this...he as the business owner, needs to do whatever he can to put the proper people in place to make the business run successfully. If he doesnt have the people there now to do so, he needs to re-evaluate what he is doing and go a different way.
I am a firm believer that the people you have around you either make you a success or bring you down...no matter how good your products are, if you dont have the proper people in place to get those products to your customers it will eventually take a toll on your business.

I concur, Bob has a responsibility to his customers. If he is unable to live up to those responsibilities then he needs to shut it down. Family is important and can account for a brief stumble in a basically one man operation, but it is unreasonable to expect customers to tolerate being ignored and not having their orders filled. I'll not speculate on his relationship with Paypal, but not being charged until shipping is probably a good thing. I wish Bob the best..
