I often have the door open while I'm tuning with the ignition on/off. The chimes drive me nuts. Having a switch to turn it off is convenient.

No sorry, all i did was solder the light to the wires and shoved it in there

Theres alot of room to where you could put pretty much whatever you want. Theres a piece that held it up but it was in the way, so I pulled it off and just hot glued the dome light on

i had 6 in that back dome. plus the replacement led bulbs

Truthfully I actually like the dimmer light. It looks pretty neat, just can't see it well in the picture. Think I'll put some at the feet or somewhere to light it up some, and I'll just tie it in to my switch that works my lights behind the grille. Then they'll all turn on at once
