Just got the new ones in and I am glad I had them switch to 5k the color is 10x better. As far as the projected light they put out... i have come to the conclusion that the lamps in these trucks (at least the 06-08s) are just not the best for hids, the light gets too scattered. Guess maybe I will look into some projectors in the future but for now these will do.

ANY non projector housing is not meant for Hids. Although you, I and millions others dont really care. To properly run hids in any housing or lamp you need to use projectors. If you look at Daniels truck he has the retro fitted projectors. Im saving up to do the same but with black housings. There is a projector retro fit how to done by Jermemy aka numbers on the Dodge forum. The projectors are only a 100 plus shrouds. But like me, there fine for the time being untill I get pulled over for them which is like 1 in a million chance lol
