I work for the Corporate office of Pilot Flying J (Travel Centers) on their Technology Services Team, and I am also part of their Emergency Response Team.
If there is a natural disaster, FEMA and local and federal agencies are on our asses to get fuel up and running, because if emergency trucks dont have fuel, they dont save people...so during hurricanes, when people are evacuating, Ill be heading in to ride out the storm and get the stations back up....Pilot is the LEADING supplier of Diesel Fuel in the country...
We had a store in Charlotte catch fire on Tuesday, and there was some structure damage, so we had to pack up and head out to Charlotte to check on the situation.
Other than that, when there is not an urgent emergency, I go from store to store and maintain all of their technology.
