Yeah, thats about right...if it's a Fram, hell, I'd change it every 10K miles...Fram has a washable filter now too...you looked into those at all?

I haven't looked into filters at all. Just sort of going with whatever they put in at each 8,000 mile service interval as far as oil, rearend fluid, filters, etc

I am thinking about going to a conventional filter in my 14x3 here next paycheck...Right now I am running a K&N...
