I think one of the reasons e85 gets worse gas mileage is because it has a 100+ octane rating which is pretty much race fuel. Only problem other than that is that not every station has e85 so you have to watch your fuel level closely

Thats reasonable...but it also contains up to 30% less energy than conventional gasoline...so you will use more of it, to run your engine.

According to what I have been reading, there are less then 2800 stations in the US that sell E85...I bet alot of those are in Washington DC and Detroit...
