same here, my stanleys are holdin up great. and harbor freight tools are just as good with the same warranty, walk in with the broke, get the new show it to em walk out, no recipt needed.

I have heard that some Sears locations will NOT do an exchange like that anymore...they actually send your tool back for repair if it's a ratchet or something like that.

I found a Craftsman 1/2" drive ratchet in the middle of the road once...took it to a Western Auto store in Dade City and walked out with a brand new one. My grandpa used to scour flea markets and yard sales for rusted Craftsman tools and take them back to Western Auto and exchange them for brand new ones.
