Not hard, Have a jack stand under the frame with the wheel off and the axle hanging. I would remove the OEM shackle and undo the axle/spring U bolts so you can remove the spring pack center bolt. I used a "C" clamp to control the spring release. Remove the o/l spring from the pack. I used a philips screw driver stuck in the center bolt hole and tightened the spring pack back up using the "c" clamp to re-installed the center bolt. There is an alignment (split) pin that needs to be cut flush after the o/l is removed. I used a hand grinder. Then bolt it back together using the drop shackle. I did one side at a time. Piece of cake.
