working in dry heat, is better than working in wet heat, its miserable, its takes everything out of you, and at the end of the day, you dont wanna do anything else, but take a cold shower, and lay down.
Ive worked in 95* heat with 5% humidity up in a loft hanging drywall, and it was fine, i couldve done it in a pair of jeans, and been fine all day, now you put that same 95* heat with 100% humidity, youre looking at a heat index upwards of 120*. It amuses me when people out west complain of 105* heat with 0% humidity, which feels like 105*, those same people come down to fl to 95* heat with 100% humidity with a heat index of 105*+, thinkin oh thats nothing, then they get here and step outside, and are like holy shit, i dont wanna do shit, but sit inside.
