Default Tech thread,.. With pic's.
Okay. For the gen 2 brother's that's thinking of putting gen 3/3.5/4 wheel's on their gen 2. This is what I went threw and had to do. Took 4 hour's total and honestly if you're unsure of what you're doing, don't attempt this. You could possibly throw the hub outta' weight and permantley damage the wheel.

The first wheel took me two hour's. It was alot of trial and error with the shaving of the wheel and the hub. And yes, the hub HAS to be shaved in order to get the fitment correct on these truck's.

To start with I used my die grinder and rotary rasp to take out the center hole, then the grinder on the lip around the hub behind the dust cap and then I jumped on it with my die grinder and rotary rasp. I had to to take .019mm of aluminum (the entire center all the way to the chrome cap) and .023mm off of each hub. I coned it out as you will see in the pic's. (Sorry about the picture quality. My uncle was taking the pic's as I was working.) The picture's speak for themselves' as to what I really had to do so I really hope this help's.

This is a very time tenuous task and honestly if you don't have atleast a day to dedicate to this, don't start it.
