^^^ When I lived in North Lakeland, I was right off Old Polk City Rd, literally about 3 minutes from the track. Me and my neighbor went quite a bit and never bought a ticket. And back when the NASCAR guys would come and practice you could go to the track, drive right in the gate and take a seat to watch. It's a fast track. I went to see the PRA big cars run there a couple Decembers ago...man, they were fast on that track.
If I couldn't make it to the house, I could always sit on my screened porch and listen to them.
I hate that they tore it down. And they are not using it for anything, they just tore it all down and it is an empty chunk of land now.
