So I have the Droid X, and I have been having problems of the phone rebooting multiple times during the day. I have replaced the phone 3 times... 3 different phones and they ALL did the same thing. Software malfunction? I don't know but I decided I didn't want this stupid phone anymore. So I called Motorola to begin with. I told them the deal and specifically said I want to upgrade to the X2 free of charge because of the money I already spent and the trouble I've been through. All they said was that they would "repair" it if I sent it into them. If I did that, I would be without a phone for 2 weeks. I told them no I want a new phone and they wouldn't listen. So I told all 4 of the people what I thought of them and hung up. Next I called Verizon, told them the issue and that I wanted a new phone. Talked to probably 5 different people and they all told me sorry you can pay $200 for the X2 but we're not giving it to you. I also told them what I thought of them and transferred over to the people to cancel our contract. I told the lady what was going on and that they better cancel our contract for free or it's not gonna be good. I also told her about the phone I wanted. She put me on hold for a minute, came back and said ok you will have a Droid X2 on your doorstep by Friday free of charge. Sorry for any trouble caused. I told her thank you and congrats cause you just saved your company alot of bussiness. So all in all, I spent about 3 hours on the phone and got a X2 heading my way

Seems like presistance pays off!
