No sorry, all i did was solder the light to the wires and shoved it in there

Truthfully I actually like the dimmer light. It looks pretty neat, just can't see it well in the picture. Think I'll put some at the feet or somewhere to light it up some, and I'll just tie it in to my switch that works my lights behind the grille. Then they'll all turn on at once

Looks nice, but didn't your's already have a dome light? Or did you just change out the bulbs???
