What a day...
So yesterday when i went to leave the Cruisin the park event, my battery was dead...yay....ok ill deal with it....I goto the F-I-L house to meet the wife there, and a gigantic puddle under her car, hmmmm I said yup it figures, its been leaking but not this bad, i planned to check it out today anyway along with doing the oil that i just havent had time to change for a few weeks, i know thats not right but. So i get up the ambition around 10am to do the deed, and i find a spent water pump, belt, and idler pully, along with a shot upper motor mount. Fukk me...So i tear into it, everything under the sun has to come out on this damn taurus So i finally get it out and the dang impeller was so rotted from 150k miles, oe part, that it was paper thin and barely spun, fun times. But all is well I got all new stuff except for the reman pump, and installed it all along with changin that oil, now i just gotta do her brakes and rotate tires and hopefully this POS will last until fall so I can get a left over Durango....OH and ill have a new battery to replace my what we think to be original battery Tuesday night, got the hooooooooook up....im beat, thanks Ford for ruining my day off....nothing like a 7hr day working on the turd...

Way to go Jay - You gotta man up and do what needs to be done for the family, even if it is ruining your day off. Glad you had a friend to help you. Hang in there Bro. Just enjoy your next day off a little more.
