Honestly I don't know how they compare, they do look similar, the quality of sonar seems to be pretty good, I had to shim mine for a snug perfect fit, but that didn't bother me, and the light output is great, I think they came with white led reverse lights too, I think I'm going to have mine retinted for a blacker look, using a transparent black auto paint....

Kevin, if you don't have these installed by Wiregrass, please bring them with you so I can see them first hand. I've heard, and pics I've found online appear to show, that the Recons look "chromish" when the sun hits them just right. I don't want any chromish look.
