Thanks Nick. And yes, it's a 5.56.
I'm curious, what did you get tired of with your Kimber?

well i got a list of reason....when i got the kimber i kept having feed problems first thought ammo, or mag...well got 2 replacement mags same issue changed ammo same issue called kimber no help customer service sucks ass....not to mention i pay 800 dollars for a paper weight and i got to pay for shipping myself to send gun to them yeah ok i dont think so....well come to find out the recoil spring was weak as it was explained to me it looks like thousands of round have been put thur the gun....well...hmmmm i bought it brand new from a over price shop that will never get my business again....but it might have just been a weak spring....after that i have extractor problems....new extractor problem sloved....i never really trusted the gun for personal use....i think kimber are good guns i stand by them just think i got a bad one i got my money out of it i am happy....figured i would go back to a good ol' glock....but i am missing my HK kinda feel naked without it on my side

WOW! I have never heard of these issues with a Kimber. I have two and have never had an issue. But, every manufacturer has a bad one now and then. Sounds like a Para-Ordnance I bought many years ago. It would put a dent in every piece of brass it ejected. I returned to my buddy's gun shop and told him about it. He sent it back and they promptly returned it and said it was a characteristic of the gun and there was nothing they could do. I wouldn't accept that explanation and he ended up taking it back, applying what it cost towards the purchase of my first Kimber, ironically. I have never owned another Para-Ordnance since. But one of my uncles owns several and he has never had an issue with any of his...go figure!
And yes, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Glock. I love mine and it has always operated flawlessly. And I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

I owned a G26 gen 4 for about two hours lol. Bought it new from work and took it to the range with a buddy. He shot it more then I did then offered me more than what I paid for it.
I still have my bushmaster AR though. I won't be getting rid of that anytime soon
