Default Wiring gurus, a question for you....
I want to eventually get a train horn for the truck...and be able to operate it like Kevin does, via a remote...

BUT, my gen2 does not have keyless entry....

How would I go by making it run off a remote, withouy keyless entry?

You could use something like this to control stuff like locks, lights, horn or most anything.

Actually I'm thinking of going completely keyless for my ignition using a bluetooth token. Basically if the token is in my pocket the ignition button will start the truck. If the token is out of range nothing works. Shave the door handles and again if the token is in range the the door button opens the door, out of range the door doesn't open.

Yes, the steering lock would have to go. I wouldn't want a solenoid to be holding the lock if there was a clich and it locked the wheel while driving. The way mine is now it could be dragged onto a roll back but no one can start it.
