Did anybody catch that McLaren is making the engine control units for all the teams to purchase for their cars...at a cost of a whopping $25,000.00 EACH?!?!?!

Yup saw that, McLaren has being doing the same in formula 1 for years now. They are suppose to be tamper-proof.
