Big Project (mobile beware)

So my sister has an 03 Civic, and her husband has never ever taken the time to wash a car, NEVER, not even a drive through. So her Civic Is looking about 1000 years older than it is, so since she is here this weekend I am gonna try to make it look its age at least. Here it is

The 3M Headlight Kit for the Drill works pretty damn good, it aint gonna make headlights new, but at least it dont look like hot ass anymore.

And here is both of em done

Way to go. Helping out your sister is way cool. I know she will really appreciate it when you are done. Some people just think of their car as a way to get from point A to point B. It is a shame that a car has to age so much before their time. The headlights look great.

Very nice thing of you to do for your sister; like Paul said many people a car is just a means for getting somewhere. Nice job!

Okay so I got up at the Crack of 10 a.m. and went to work. I started off washing it with the Jax Wax Wash and Wax, then clay-barred the entire thing windows and all. Then used the Adam's Swirl and Haze Remover, then The Revive Polish, then The Buttery Wax. Then Finished it all up with the Jax Wax Liquid Carnuba Wax. Man it was a job! But it came out 100% better. And it sucks buffing out the wax on a car that hasn't seen wax in years! I also gave all the windows a couple coats of Rain-X.

My sister wasnt feeling well so she decided to head home a day early so I didnt get a chance to paint the steel rims with black paint, but at least I got the hubcaps back on. Looks good enough I guess lol.
