front rotors warped so soon?

On my 2008 Charger my front rotors were warped so i got new rotors and break pads. drive back they were fine. my sister was the driver so i never drove it untill she left for college. they dont even have 10k miles on the rotors/breaks and they feel like they are warped. i havnt taken them off to really examine them but i noticed 2 small cracks in them vertically. kinda squiggly looking. now from my understanding that would indicate they put the wrong rotors on in the front and caused them to crack. car barely sees highway driving. breaks have plenty beef on them. anythought on why it coulda warped them so soon? im gonna pull them off soon and take them to where we had them done.
any input appreciated. hopfully i can either get my money back or get a new pair of rotors.

also, shakes steering wheel, when they get hot shakes worse.
thanks
Nick

Man these heavy trucks eat through front rotors, I wouldn't be surprised if they were bad already, mine are starting to go after about a year, cheap Napa rotors

oh no this is for the charger. lol.

i went 60k miles on my truck rotors and were able to be machined when i got new breaks.

I recommend grooved rotors and ceramic pads and you'll be fine. The cost is not much more than the OEM's. My 05 Magnum has 30K miles and no shakes, but I do not live in the city nor brake hard.

Since they were cracked, I would think it is merely a manufacturer defect. I have always ran Advance rotors with no probs.

they are grooved and ceramin pads.

hot brakes, cold puddles from rain?....

On my 2006 Magnum SRT I had to have new pads at 7,000 miles under warranty and then again at 8,000 miles; and the rotors were also SHOT and with only 8,000 miles. After several arguments with the dealer then ended up putting on new 2010 style SRT slotted rotors and again new pads. Of course being an SRT these are BREMBOS! Thankfully no problems since. Currently it has 11,071 miles just now backing it into the garage.

I have found proper torquing the wheels often keeps the rotors from warping. Brake pad break in is also important.
