Proud of myself; BLUE is lookin' so much better!!!
As most of you all already know we bought BLUE for an everyday driver and the previous owner surely did NOT take care of THIS car! I don't believe I have ever seen so many scratches on any car, especially one this new! Now I could surely expect this as this was, to him, just an everyday family car and with small children and 127,500 miles surely it wasn't gonna look new.
Yesterday I spent most of the afternoon buffing out the hood and roof trying to remove the scratches with compound and my new high speed buffer that Tee just bought for me. I was actually shocked that the majority of them came out pretty good and you have to look pretty close to see where they were. Then I waxed and buffed with a polisher buffer (much lower speed). Hopefully and maybe today, I'll get to start on all the side panels and rear hatch!
I did NOT take any pictures as I know the before and after pictures would have looked pretty much the same; was hard to see scratches in pictures.

Jim, it's hard work getting it all done. I find myself doing a section at a time. But the work does pay off.

Yo Bro - Stay with it. Blue is coming around. It may be a daily driver, but she will sparkle & shine when you take her out.
