Drove by there a few days ago, Why does it say SuperChips and EDGE now? Just curious. Are both companies working out of there now?

That's a good question. And I wonder if it has anything to do with some EDGE distributors/retailers blowing out their stock and not selling EDGE anymore?

According to their site:
"Edge Products is part of the MSD Performance Family (Which includes MSD Ignition, Superchips and Racepak). On February 1, 2011, the strategic decision was made to integrate Edge Products and Superchips into one company. The new entity will operate under the name "Powerteq". Edge Products and Superchips will continue their identity as retail brands managed by Powerteq. With the two leaders in electronic performance coming together under the Powerteq banner, Edge Products will continue to deliver industry revolutionizing products that offer customers an extraordinary driving experience."

I figured something was up when a couple diesel performance parts distributors/retailers I follow just advertised on Friday that they were marking down/blowing out and discontinuing all EDGE products.

Nothing is changing between the two brands. We are just under one management name similar to how Accel, Hayes, and Mr Gasket are setup.

I think it all depends on the application, really. If you wast custom tunes for your engine build and mods, SCT is decinately the way to go. But for people who are lightly modded who want an out of the box tuner, Superchips is great also.
