March SEM-OTM Nominations

Ok Folks, This is the first South East Mopar Of The Month Competition.

Nominations will run until Satuday (2-19-11).

SEMOTM Rules

NOMINATIONS ARE CLOSED

1. You must be nominated by a member and receive a second
a. You can not nominate yourself
b. No PM'ing other members and asking for nominations or votes.
2. Only one nomination/second per person per month
3. Once nominated, you must accept/decline before the 3 spots are filled
4. After accepting, you will need to email me your picture choice (UN-Photoshopped and Current (No past vehicles)) that you would like to use for the poll.
a. You may post any pictures, videos or other details in the competition thread once opened to campaign your Mopar after being (and accepting) the second nomination
5. Staff members are eligible to nominate, run and vote each month
6. Only one win per rolling 12 month period.
7. If you have more than one vehicle, you may only enter one vehicle per competition
8. There will be 3 competition spots per month
9. This competition is for fun. If you don’t have anything nice or positive to say, please respect each other and not say it.
10. The nomination period will run the 3rd week of each month
11. The actual competition will run the 4th week of each month.
a. The winner from that competition will be the following Month’s SEMOTM
12. In the event of a tie, the member with the most posts will accept win

You are correct, but at this point, we are too small to be that strict. Once we get bigger and have more active members, I will change the rules to list a nom or a second as a vote

I am deeply honored to have been nominated. This is by FAR the best group of people I believe I have ever socialy been associated with outside of blood family. Even if the voting doesnt sway in my favor, I feel like I have already won. Thanks again my MOPAR family!!!

Im sorry, I still dont understand how this works. We had till the 19th to nominate someone. But then a few hours later everything was closed??? Of course they are going to fill fast, because of the way it was done. Oh well hopefully the poll is open for more than 3-4 hours that way all the members can actually have a say in it. :)

nominations open on a certain day(2nd/3rd sunday of the month), we have a week to fill 3 spots. if they fill in an hour than its done. if no one gets on and accepts when they are open they dont get in, cause 3 spots will fill quick. the polls(3rd/4th week of the month) will remain open for a full week, after 3 days it will prolly stall out until someone who hasn't been on gets on and votes...it keeps all you members on your toes and logging in and anticipating the OTM competition...
