Ordered my first official mod

So, the other day my stock radio decided it didn't wanna work anymore and wanted to retire. I'm not a guy thats really serious about car audio, so I dont really care at this point to have a "bumping" system in my truck, I dont listen to CD's as all my music is on my iPOD Touch, so...I had a $50 Best Buy card sitting here waiting to be used from Christmas...so I decided to use it on this:

It's mechless, so it doesnt have a CD player in it, but does read SD cards, has a USB input for my iPOD Touch and a 3.5mm Aux jack...should totally fit my needs until I decide I want to invest in something more fancy!!!

Dude, did you look at that Insignia I have for sale??? No SD card slot but it does has the AUX jack in it.


That's deff a unique radio though. Look's tight as shit. I never seen one without a cd player.

sweet i have a mechless HU and i love it. mine is the alpine ida-x200 and i run my ipod off the usb cable. i have also pluged in a 640gig external hdd and a 16gig thumbdrive for fun. not switching cd's is so nice. i will be upgrading to the ixa-w407

really soon. same idea, mechless, but with a screen and video playback. i found the one in the link for 350.00 NIB shipped a few times. and has bluetooth built in for hans free calling

the usb port should charge the ipod and depending on the hu may let you control the ipod throught the deck so you arent looking at the ipod while driving. i keep mine tucked away in the glove box
