I, along with some members of HTC had a rare privilege this week: we were drivers for the Mecum Muscle Car Auction in Kissimmee! Great time driving cars I'd otherwise never get to see, let alone drive.

Here are links to the pics I took:

Sure am glad my Dad taught me to drive a lot of different types of cars.

What did the Wounded Warriors Mustang end up selling for? They ended the broadcast before it ended...

Also, how about the boat that went for like $975,000.00 and the 72 Challenger with R/T decals all over it

Not sure about the Wounded Warrior 'Stang. The "High Five" 'Stang got $50K the first time. The new owner passed it through again. I think it got another $50K and might have gone again. I suspect Mecum waived the fees, too.

There were so many Challengers, I'm not sure which one you're talking about, plus when we're out fetching other cars, we can't tell any details.

The Challenger was a red 72 with matte black R/T decals...had a 340 in it...

Lucky! I like the Mecum auctions better than Barret Jackson as well. There are still extremely nice cars, but there are also some that are nice driver quality cars for great prices. Did you get to meet Bill Stephens? They do a great job of going into details about all the cars.

Adam- Do you have Satellite? I didn't know HD Net was still around, they discontinued that channel from Bright House atleast 3 or 4 years ago. I have to watch Mecum on HD Theater.

You're right, it was HD Theater, but I have FiOS with Verizon and we still have HDnet, but it shows concerts like 24/7

I can't wait for FiOS to get up this way, I still live in the boonies.

I switched over from Dish Network to FiOS and I havent looked back since... got the largest FiOS TV package,2 SD recievers, an HD milti room DVR, 35 up/35 down internet with built in wifi and phone with unlimited long distance for like $180 a month before taxes..
