I think it would be cool to have the Florida Chapter (and South East Mopars in general) registered with the Florida Mopar Association...it only costs $25 per year...here is their mission statement...(source: floridamoparassociation.com)

FMA MISSION STATEMENT The Florida Mopar Association was formed to promote car related hobbies for the Mopar (Chrysler Corporation Vehicles) enthusiast and to unite and assist all Mopar clubs within the state of Florida. Each member club shall retain its autonomy with FMA support and advisement only upon request from the individual club. The FMA shall not interfere either as a club or as an individual in the operation of any single club. Membership is available to any Chrysler oriented club in the state of Florida. Clubs may become members by submitting a written application and $25.00 annual dues to the Association. If a member club has not renewed in 90 days from the beginning of the calendar year, it will be assumed that they are no longer members of the FMA. Member clubs agree to select one individual from their membership to act as their representative to the FMA

Honestly though...I believe having the club registered there would draw more classics into the club...we NEED to get those guys attention so we arent looked upon as a "Modern Mopar" club...If we can draw some loyalty from those guys it has the potential to take this club to a level that most clubs would envy...

I like your thinking and i beleve your correct this site is great folks can interact and discuss every problem to come to an agreement with no drama, but for the person that's just surfing and does not know this group, would never know that this site is all year mopar friendly[i don't beleve] with out spending some time looking at the site in depth.However joining an association may or may not help, it can't hurt that's for sure.Not be'in a negitive nancy just my 2 cents worth. I'm on several forums but i spend most of my time here due to the family atmosphere.

I think both are needed for growth and improvment.

I have always' noticed that the MOPAR guy's/females' mostly stay with other MOPAR people,... Sooo FMA look's to be a out-age point for us to gain a ton of new membership and the Kelly Cruise is the way to get us seen. Especially if we pull up somewere 20+ deep decaled and shirted/capped.

We should be the MOPAR club that's feared. Like one of these...

dont expect a speedy response, they never update there web page well just once a year, they put up big daddy show pics on 6 months later, the only issue I see is that most of the members of FMA are the older gen folks and dont get on the web as often to see whats going on , we have the same problem with the CMOJ crusin mopars of Jacksonville but a great Idea could not hurt
