lol nice. I do say its very nice to do oil changes on trucks. Like just a few days ago I did one on my wifes sentra what a pain had to jack it up and put on stands just to do a feaking 10minute oil change. Sheez

My S10 was the same way...and they had the oil filter tucked between the Y pipe and the damn frame...ALWAYS spilled oil all over my arm dropping the filter...ALWAYS...The wifes Ford minivan I have to jack it up to get to the drain plug...but the filter sits right near an exhaust resonator so I better have a cool engine before I touch it.

Yeah Im not to lucky with here car, the oil filter is all the way in the back of the engine bay and at the top of the engine but can only be gotten to from underneath. SIGH

when i did my fuel pump i sat up under the bed, and used my legs to lower the tank, and had a friend lift the tank slightly so i could pull my legs out, then did the reverse for the install. worked rather well, the amount of room you can get by cutting the factory muffler out is quite amazing. even when i got stuck (no 4wd at the time) i was still able to crawl under the truck and move around. in fact i used it as a shelter from rain one time. (i got cold feet. lol.)

I just lay under mine no jacks needed, even my ford Taurus I just reach under and drain, on the ford it's a lil tougher w/o jacks but I can do it....
