We have so many members that range in so many age groups, I was wondering what type of music you like to cruise to or even a certain song. I love cruising to the '70s and rockin' out to Kid Rock or some Southern Rock.

Amen to that. Can't really stand these American Idol "proclaimed country stars", who never had anything to do with country music, or probably ever even been to the country.

Mainly classic rock. ZZ Top, AC/DC, 38 Special, Golden Earing, etc...

I agree with you both but I start out with the same country you like to like Alabama, George Jones, George Strait, and then I like classic rock

Country mostly the older stuff. My favorite newish artist is Brantley Gilbert, he's not mainstream but Jason Aldean cut some of his songs.

I listen to about everything except for rap. Not real big into country, but I listen to some of it.
Mostly classic rock, but I'll listen to blues, jazz and classical at times...

I don't think Sirius is dead quite yet. The merger with XM took a lot out of them and about three months after the merger Siruis/XM sought bankruptcy protection as they saw debts approach $5 billion and stock plummeted to 3 cents a share.

Currently their debts have improved a good bit and the stock is running around $1.60 per share. A far cry from the $4 it was selling at three years ago, but a long way up from when they were at rock bottom...

Yes SiriusXM is what they call themselves now on the radio channels. Sirius bought out XM this past year.

Sirius Radio has its advantages, especially on long trips. You don't have to keep searching for a radio station you like. It has disadvantages also like no reception in tunnel or under gas station overheads. My Challenger came with a free year and I listen to it all the time. I like not having to listen to commercials every 10 minutes or so. They have a ton of stuff to choice from to listen to.

i actually have it on my cell phone, but rarely use it on there.

They use to offer it free online and I use to play it on my phone that way. Also had access at home which was nice. Then all of a sudden they made it pay only. I called and bit**ed and said I have the lifetime subscription and have had it for like 5 years now. Which qualifies for the fee online if you buy over 3 years.
